Name change ceremony??

What is the Offocial name change ceremony?

outonsafari 09-19-2017 08:22 PM

option 1, pay first oso member who responds 500 bucks, said member must blow it all on booze and lap dances and should call the girls by the boats old name.

option 2, make and post a video of the name change ceremony so all of us can bust your chops

option 3, go thru a crossing the line ceremony, (wog day)

LOL! Were you in the Navy safari? I was on a ship (USS Fulton) for 3 yrs. but never came close to the equator. I bet all that chit is totally illegal now, or severely toned down.

you had wog day in your shop ?

dave m, yes navy, airwing 2 westpacs.
some people say it's better to give than to receive but i had more fun going thru wog day than i did dishing it out second time around.
every great institution has some kind of initiation, recruit, or pledge inductee ceremony. hell corporate guys go to boot camp style thing.
the pc call it hazing, and say it's bad, they're wrong.
character building exercises are essential to find out who you are, if you can cut it, and see who can't just to name a few.
and i'll bet in this environment you get a big chicken dinner if you mention wog day.

indy, sorry about the hijack, there are a sh%t ton of videos on youtube

I am sure that it involves a virgin sacrifice along with booze.

Did it once with a friends Sea Ray. Had some bla bla words and broke a bottle of champagne in a bag on a cleat. Owned the boat for 5 years and ran beautifully.

I changed the name on my boat without doing a ceremony. A month later I blew apart a drive. Boat gods are serious :)
