Steve Morris V-16 LS (for a supercar) engine dyno
Earlier this year XVI Power unveiled their V-16 LS:
XVI Power Introduces V-16 LS Marine Engine in Miami
Now Steve Morris is building a V-16 monster of his own for a supercar maker from Dubai. I don't know about the supercar, but a detuned version in a big cat...maybe a plausible turbine alternative. Both are out of Michigan, but Morris does have lots of marine history too from what I remember.
Edit: sorry, YT links don't seem to work for me? Pull up youtube, copy & paste /watch?v=8jdh-Psq3Ec to see the 4515 hp quad turbo engine dyno run.
12.3L V-16 LS quad turbo
race gas:
36 psi
4515 hp @ 6900 rpm
3519 lb-ft @ 6600 rpm
93 octane pump gas:
20 psi
3006 hp @ 6900 rpm
2407 lb-ft @ 6400 rpm
more info in the vid
