Default Eddie Young Honest and Trustworthy

I finally have the chance to give a big shout out to Eddie Young. I traveled from upstate NY with 2 Fully Rebuilt 500 EFI engines, to Nashville to have Eddie Tune them. Eddie arranged the Dyno Schedule and was on time everyday ready to work. He did everything he promised. Leading up to this he chose the CAM for my application and also spoke with my builder/machinist/Assembler to make sure we were on the same page. He also spoke with Big Al since I was using his 317 Aluminum Heads. I was looking for a combination that would make 625HP. And still maintain the 500 EFI intakes. My intakes were through honed and cleaned up. And Eddie was able to tune them and they made 625HP and 670lbs of torque at 5500RPM. I was very happy with the results.

Eddie planned on 3 days to tune both engines, we however ran into an injector problem and we had to overnight some new injectors. And of course we had a shipping incident. Eddie rearranged his schedule and still got my project done. And I am the little guy in the whole scheme of boating. He made it happen, mostly becuase he said that he would and he stood by his word. I have been a performance boat owner for 20+ years and I have to say that Eddie and Young performance is at the top of the list for answering phones, giving advise, delivering on what they say they will do and they have honest competitive pricing. Eddie really helped me achieve my goals and made it happen despite some small bumps in the road we ran into.

We ran them on the dyno, and at every RPM range. We broke the engines big time and made many pulls. Burned some fuel to say the least....lol.

If anyone is considering some engine work, it is in your best interest to contact Eddie and Young Performance to see what they can do for you. Eddie was able to get me turned around within the week. I put the engines back in the Playboy boat in a day and was on the water. Everything worked as anticipated. I am very happy with the performance and this took my playboy cigarette to the next level.

The trip from NYS was about 11 hours all loaded up. Nashville was a cool area, and with the couple of days we waited for parts I was able to see some of the sights.

I am writing this because I just winterized the boat, we have had some great weather for AUG, SEPT, OCT. Made for a great boating season, despite the late start. Can't wait for next season.

Thanks again Eddie.... "You do still owe me a couple of Black T-Shirts' I will give you a call soon!!!! Thanks Bud

Kurt from NYS.

Not to mention it was a great week, just talking boats, horsepower, engines and BS.

Never spent a dime with Eddie but he's always taken time to answer my questions over the phone and give solid advice. He's top shelf in my book and I'll spend my future $$$$ with Young Performance.
