Holy crap...Nice Apache Restore!

JT and the crew knocked it out. Stunning!

1991 Apache 41 powerboat for sale in Florida

Knot 4 Me 11-01-2017 08:26 AM

Stunning. A second helm on the port side would be nice.

thisistank 11-01-2017 08:40 AM

I guess TNT is in the process of restoring Warpaint as well. Getting ready for rigging.

TBAG 11-01-2017 09:33 AM

What Apache was this previously?

J-Bonz 11-01-2017 10:25 AM

McManus Caveman or Mega Toy I would bet....?

MINK 11-01-2017 10:28 AM

Stunning ride, would love to see it in person

Interceptor 11-01-2017 11:03 AM

I'm treading on dangerous water but it sure looks good with a simple paint job versus some swirly multi-colored typhoon on the side or the old Indian murals.

302Sport 11-01-2017 11:10 AM

I might get a lot of crap for this, but I don't think it is really an Apache, the deck and dash look more like a Comanche to me. Anybody else notice this?

I thought the same thing. The windscreen looks more rounded than an old school Apache 41

302Sport 11-01-2017 11:38 AM

J-Bonz must think the same thing if you read the comments above.

I don't think it is...its also 42' I believe.

SkaterMike82 11-01-2017 12:23 PM

Boat is owned by a really good friend here in Miami. It is the old Mega Toy, Still Got it. Boat is pristine and taken care off with an open wallet. It is the tender to his other boats.

Ok, that's going to take me a while to wrap my head around that concept :D

WARPARTY36 11-01-2017 03:40 PM

That thing is SWEEEEEET!

Cash Bar 11-01-2017 04:17 PM

Really, really well done. Not my type of boat but I can appreciate the work and product.

FREEDOM US1 11-01-2017 05:44 PM

Very nice!!!!!!

strugglinToolSalesMan 11-01-2017 05:57 PM

I think its BAD to the bone!!! 1000hp #6's old school "hardcore boat" with a slight modern touch...

akaboatman 11-01-2017 06:08 PM

Beautiful! I would love to see the cabin.

dykstra 11-02-2017 06:39 AM

Looks awesome!!!

Tractionless 11-02-2017 07:43 AM

Nice, other than the dark hull color.

What cabin?

Jupiter Sunsation 11-02-2017 08:31 AM

Tank this was the boat that I saw in the FPC winter run and posted it here. I'd post another link but it won't show up anymore on OSO.

Nice piece but hate when they say over 500K spent, followed by asking 299K......with math like that we will see less mint restorations in the future.

Totally agree. Some old offshore boats can pull of a crazy paint job but most of the time it just looks like a mess. This looks beautiful. I have seen it in person and it's really nice.

Wobble 11-02-2017 09:54 AM

The way that the boat is supported in the pic above can not be good for the hull, it looks like the majority of the weight is on the strakes.

caseyh 11-02-2017 12:13 PM

what is the differences in a 41 and 42? 1 foot, the dash and deck?

Diamond Dave 11-02-2017 01:14 PM

I think I just got a semi seeing this:Score-101010:

BTW over $500k was spent on this built and i know because Eddie (the owner) is a very good friend of mine. When it was "Still Got It" let's just say it was rough just to be nice.

I would easy say it is the nicest Apache restoration after Elias's 47 "Spirit of Apache!"

Just sucks the ROI is 60% of cost.

BenPerfected 11-02-2017 08:43 PM

I would be thrilled to get 60% of cost......

SB 11-02-2017 08:54 PM

Who gives a schit when you have the money.
Come on - people over pay for multi milion dollar paintings. homes, cars, and etc all the time.

I'd rather have a beast of a boat vs some damn painting that hangs on the wall. :)

hogie roll 11-03-2017 12:18 AM

Saw it in bimini, it's really nice.

Yeah but when have you ever heard of someone losing money on a Picasso or a Dusenberg?

sprsptr 11-03-2017 08:07 AM

Awesome old school boat!

sprsptr 11-03-2017 08:07 AM

Holy Crap!

Truth be told it is amazing and absolutely gorgeous. It will be interesting to see what it brings. That number is inline with boats that are 20 years newer, how much cachet does the Apache name carry? Reminds me of the Harley ads on Craig's List. Invested is an optimistic term, and implies a possible profit on money spent. We all know how that works out!

carter38 11-03-2017 03:20 PM

Incredible redo!

badmonkey 11-04-2017 07:46 AM

Don't care about how much money was spent redoing it or what it may sell for...I want to see video footage of this thing crushing big water and flying thru the air.....:drink:

I spent some time in the bilge of that boat about 10 years ago, I'll agree, it was "rough". Used to be a triple engine boat from what I remember..?
