Default Hurricanes Harvey And Irma Damage To Boats Estimated At Half-Billion-Plus Dollars

The catastrophic losses and damages to vessels from Hurricanes Harvey and Irma are similar to those of Hurricane Sandy, https://speedonthewater.com/in-the-n...n-plus-dollars.

Great for the boat builders if the people don't take the money and run.

The money insurance will pay out won't cover the cost to replace the used one let alone a new model.

And that is if you are covered, a lot down here won't cover the boat in named storms.

To be showing up on Craigslist soon just like the Katrina cars that flooded the market. Survey survey survey.

Some pics of the Moorings charter fleet down in the BVIs.

Before-- lined up like soldiers going to battle in the Revolutionary war https://bloximages.newyork1.vip.town...ize=1200%2C800

After doing battle--- Umm I think they lost. https://i.cbc.ca/1.4281397.150489608...after-irma.jpg

Gotta praise Progressive. Hurricane Harvey nearly destroyed our ski boat against the dock with heavy damage. The adjuster came out in 1 week, looked it over for an hour, and totaled it out. Check on agreed value in hand in 2 days.
