RIP

If he passed what is the word on the others in the boat?

RIP. So tragic. Last week I was thinking to myself that compared to last year, this year was going well. There was only one more event to go before the end of the year and "so far, so good". Then this happened. Wow. Condolences to Joe's family and friends. To everyone still participating, be safe

Words cannot express, my condolences to Joe's family and friends and the Outerlimits group.

That is terrible. I first time I met Mr. Sgro was in the late 1980's at a Pt. Pleasant race or Barnegat Bay Race. He was always a pleasure to speak with before and after the races. He was a very nice man, and my memory of him will always remain such. May you be with God Mr. Sgro, RIP.

They can be too far forward as well. Early step cigs have a rep for spinning. You definitely want to keep the ass down, tabs up, and drives up when turning at speed.

At the speeds these boats are running, seat time mean very little. It's mostly "luck" nowadays. The boats are simply going beyond "controllable" speeds, but they know this... sad.

Just my opinion but this thread should be used for condolences and memories of the deceased not for dissecting the accident.

RIP

Very sad.
Tough blow for outerlimits and high performance boating.

Sounds like he went, doing what he loved.
