" To call the current Superboat-class Miss GEICO team a British invasion wouldn’t be entirely incorrect, other than that the outfit’s longtime crew chief Gary Stray, throttleman Steve Curtis, driver James Sheppard and program consultant Ian Hawkins, while all Brits, aren’t invaders. But don’t let their charming English accents fool you, they’re wickedly competitive as they proved with a strong first-place finish in Friday's contest after finishing a disappointing fifth on Wednesday."

I don't follow the team or it's principles very closely, but also don't recognize many of those names. Was there a major personnel change at Geico Racing during the last year?

Ian Hawkins used to run Ilmor Marine.

So sorry—my bad. Now I have to buy you at least to drinks if you come to the Miami Boat Show in February.

Thank you all for the kind words on coverage. We truly enjoy bringing it to you.
