Hey, I understand that events get cancelled for many reasons. My point is, as a professional organization, I would not put a date on a schedule until it was firmed up. Just my opinion.

That's not necessarily the case Larry has had multiple meetings with Key West and still in negotiations try to make it happen the problem is the cruise ships and the Navy base they are trying to coordinate something that works for everyone there's a limited amount of weekends available. If you read the article that came out about loto he had spoke to the powers to be and they had a verbal intent but when I went in front of the city they decided they were only going to have two events this year instead of 3.
it,s the locals who are not giddy about the whole thing.The pressure is on those who are able to make the race happen,by the local fisherman .
and they are correct in my opinion.

The reason why he put out a schedule and try to accumulate the race sites and dates as quickly as possible because the majority of the racers in Key West asked for them everybody want to get an idea of where and when these races will be to fit in our schedule with the other SBI race we are running. We knew it was going to be premature and that it would probably be changes either more or less. Every organization tries to get their schedule out as early as possible.

Probably best that Lotto didn't work out RWO it would have been a conflict with SBI Clearwater race for the national championship. I don't think it would have drew many boats.
