I agree. This is what I was saying in the post about the WB Predator. IMHO, it seems like 400s on a 30 cat is pushing ones luck. The boat allegedly runs 110+ w/ 300s and 120+ w/ 400s. Considering the added weight and change in CG I'd think just unbolting one and bolting on the other would not be the best approach. The companies that are building boats designed for the 400 are great. My question is when does the speed in smaller boats stop to make sense? Or does it ever. I think the 30WB w/ 300s is the best smaller package out there.

considering randy corson ran 22's with diamond marine 280's s just fine at 125+ i think a 30 with 400s is FINE as would be a reballanced 24 or 25... a 30 with 400s is a non issue IMO
