Yeah that currency exchange stuff always throws me.
What's that in Yen?

skaterize 10-19-2002 06:58 PM

What a Great ride, A true player for Skater owners please let us know who did the paint work (phenominal shine) I hope its at the Ft Laud show. Im a Skater Finatic but if MTI and NOR-TECH come out with some smaller cat's, Skater might have some market share issues, This one is out of my price range but there is an owner out there with one hellava SMILE. Enjoy your new Nor-Tech it is absolutely gorgeous. Craig

We're planning to run the boat today. I'll try to get some shots. Looks like very bad weather moving in for Saturday so I don't know what the Poker Run situation will be. Are you going to be there? I'll post pics of the canopied version soon.

Just ran the BIG CAT for the first tme. Horrible conditons, 20-35mph NW winds and 4 foot seas (thats at the launch ramp!). 400 gallons of fuel and 5 guys. This thing accelerates like a drag boat. nice attitude and smooth. Didn't want to break anything first time out so we ran it up to 146 w/ no sweat (4800 rpm) in very heavy quartering winds. We feel confident that 170+ is realistic. Here's some pics.

27mmLoto 11-17-2002 04:17 PM

Salesmanship,
Have you got your new 43 yet? Will you have one at Key West? I have a friend coming down there for the races that is shopping but is probably a year away from buying. I told him he needed to look at your boat.
How did the 36' cat do? What power and what kind of speeds? Can you put a cabin in it? I don't want a berth but I want some nice seats.
Steve

salesmanship 11-17-2002 04:27 PM

Hey Steve,
There'll be 4- 43's in KW but mine won't be finished until the end of the year. Rob Unnerstall will be there in his new one though. Have your friend give me a call and I can meet w/ him. The 36 is great, go back into this thread for info. We ran it last week to KW an it was a blast. It does have a small cabin and separate head. Could be right for you but we're sold out until mid-summer so don't take too long.
Thanks,
TS

Ron P 11-17-2002 04:43 PM

I heard that the owner is looking for 200mph and Nortech would rather see it stay around 170 for liabilty reasons. Any truth to that?
