I live here and i will say it's over rated. No the same as yrssss before. It has done and gone in a completely different directions. NOW the parties that are going on through out the week followed by the poker run the following week is a different story. I didn't even attend it last yr.

We waited all of about 15min for a water taxi, it was not bad at all and I got a beer on the ride over.



We might go but if so it will be a last minute call on our part this year.

We decided to do the FPC Poker Run this year and skip the boat show. The boat show is fun but IMO it's lost some of its luster....and I'm no fan of the Uber / Water Taxi process.

This will be the first time I have gone with the new location. Not really looking forward to the venue, but we have some actual items to shop for for a new cruiser. Normally we just went for fun and it was a quick walk from hotels. Is it still best to stay in the South Beach area? Is it possible to boat there with your own boat? Im guessing no, but figured I would ask.
