Hey LakeRacer...what year was your 28? I think in 2000 they cut the windscreen way down to its present configuration, its very proportional now, although it just deflects wind right into your face LOL!

Tom...Thanks

Wes...

Default 35 Nordic

I own a 35 Nordic and can tell you the boat Rocks!!! My 2000 has 500efi's and runs 90 GPS, (32 lab finished bravo's) no bull. Boat has been through 3 summers runs and looks new. I have purchased 3 Nordic's 23, 28 and 35 and can honestly say that I would not own another boat. You can look hard and long but you won't find a better built, better looking and better performing boat.

If you get a chance buy it, I would also highly recommend that you take a trip to Lake Havasu and visit the Nordic factory.

If you need more info, please contact me @[email protected]

Bob,
Let us know if you by the boat. Take pictures and post them for us. As you go along with the refurbishing it would be great for you to post pictures and details of the progress, we love that kind of thing and somebody might even have some good advice.

NORDICS' 35 FLAME IS BAD TO THE BONE WITH THE RIGHT HP (500EFI'S) AND A FEW SIMPLE LOW COST MODS (LAB FINISHED PROPS) THE BOAT IS A LOW 90'S MPH BOAT EASY.
BESIDES THAT ANY NORDIC IS A QUALITY BUILT BOAT, THE GEL WORK IS UNMATCHED AND HULL DESIGN IS ASOME BIG WATERS, HIGH SPEED TURNS WHAT EVER IT JUST PERFORMS. IF YOUR INTERESTED IN MORE INFO ON THE PRODUCT. CONTACT ME
[email protected]
I KNOW OF A 35 FLAME WITH 496HO'S, SHOREPOWER , A/C,
LOW HRS YOU CAN GET FOR A REAL DEAL . AND ITS ON THE EAST COAST SIDE FRESH WATER

you guys arent going to believe this !!! I drove 3.5 hours out to Syracuse this morning, got there at 915 am only to find someone their already in the office making a deal on this baby. I waited around for 2 hours to make sure the deal went thru... which it did.

I was soooooo impressed with this boat that I have added the Nordic brand to my short list off new boats Cig,AT, and Sonic beeing the other 3. Cabin was nothing fansy what so ever, but the gel and paint was perfect and the lines of the boat were unbeleivable. IM calling some dealers in the am and find me another one.

They didn't have the courtesy to call you and tell you there was a pending deal on this? I guess they don't care and would have you as a back-up in case that deal fell through. It's a sweet boat as most find when they see it. It would have impressed you more had you driven it Those Flames can run like the dickens and do well in some snot...good luck.

There are a couple of Nordic dealers in FL that might be able to hook you up.

Otis...if you want to see clips of a Flame in action, click on the link below and go to the bottom of the page and click on the video link. It takes a while to load because it's about a 5 minute video, it also shows some clips of how they're built...have fun...

Smile Wow, that is one efficient Hull

Talk about an efficient pleasure boat. The speeds quoted by Indy indicate the 35 Flame with 496's is getting between 11% and 12% prop slip. That assumes 5,000 RPM with 1.5 drives and 28 pitch props. Someone spent a lot of time dialing that boat in.

Gary's boat sounds more realistic but still posts some real good slip numbers. I also assume you are running 1.5 drives and 32 pitch props. If you top out at 5250 RPM you talikng 15% slip, if the top is 5400 RPM you looking at 17.5%. Both really good numbers.

What is the weight of the 35 Flame ? And what kind of amenities are these boats equipped with ? Just trying to do some comparisons. These are really impressive numbers.
