Sound quality is so bad I can't understand anything. I'm going boating,I'll find out tomorrow what happened. Is it so hard to make a webcast work?

the webcasts have been pretty good this year. some organizations don't have a webcast, so apba is doing more than some. i have to give them credit for trying. besides the bahamas can be a ***** to make a phone call from let alone a webcast.

We appolgize for the poor quality of the webcast, however maintaining a good quality phone connection in the Bahamas has been a task in it self. Actually just maintaining a connection is a task. Simple phone calls have been a problem.
Most sites are broadcast from race control and if you have ever been to a race site, you know that it is usually remote from any buildings and temporary phone lines have to be brought in if they are available. Some are done using a cell connection, however in the Bahamas this was not possible so local phone connection on a temp line was the only line they could supply us.
When the link is broken sometimes it is hard to re-establish overseas. Some sites are easier than others.
We promise the worlds will be better because we have facilities that lend themselves to better broadcasting.
