N.B.R.G. has released pending class breakdown requests in the following format:

When filling out your entry form, on the line labeled as class, please follow these simple instructions.
Part 1 Cats start with "C", Vee's start with "V"
Part 2 Boat length (please round to nearest whole foot) i,e: 23'5" = 23 and 23'6" =24
Part 3 Horsepower, exact as possible i.e: if your motor dynoed at 648 hp use 648 NOT 650(if mulitple engines, combined horsepower)

So a 35' Fountain with twins, one engine making 732 hp and the other 736 would be class V35-1468.
In the unlikely event that 2 or more boats would end up in the same class, participation trophies as well as free t-shirts will be awarded to all class participants,

N.B,R.G. hopes that by establishing class breakdowns in this manner, it will finally rid the sport of Offshore Racing of any and all forms of cheating, sand bagging or protesting, as well as completely eliminate the need for not only expensive GPS systems which invariably lead to arguments of accuracy as no racer can claim it malfunctioned and that they did not "break out" 47 times in 6 laps, it will also eliminate the need for time consuming and cumbersome tech inspections and arguments over rule interpretation.
