In the old days, we put 350 cranks in 400 blocks to make 377's. Wonderful little circle track engines

Low to mid 60's. 1974 model with the rounded keel. I have a -2 shorty that I want to try this next season and hope to get a few mph out of it.

Exactly, just everyone thinks the Mercruiser 6.2's and 377 Scorpions are the same set up. Which they're not, they're as Alldodge stated.

Nope! Both are Oversquare! Oversquare is bore is larger than the stroke.
