Default Winter Boating Pics

Anybody from the Midwest boat during the winter months? I'll find myself headed to the boat on an occasional weekend with a bottle of rum and Pandora to pass the time.

I will admit that I go out to see the boat and make sure all is well. --

I miss boating very much -- so much in fact I sit in our family room with a life preserver on and watch Miami Vice waiting for the boat scenes.-- yes I am addicted !

Right now in Northern Indiana we have about 5" of new snow and it is rather cool - around 10F- Spring can't come soon enough

Life preserver in the family room while watching Miami Vice, that’s passion right there! You win sir.

We live on the Trent Severn Waterway. This was taken mid November before the Lake got hard.
Our home is over top of the boathouse. I go see the toys everyday. OSO is the only thing that keeps me sane until April when docks and railways are dropped.
Off to Miami boat show next week.

I’m on mine almost everyday. Damn winter makeover! Takes a little while for the heater to take it from the teens to a comfortable mid 50’s till the teeth stop chattering. Piddle a couple hrs, unplug the shore power and go home and order supplies. Repeat next day. UPS is my new best friend.

Its on its side intentionally. Snow slides off
