I would simply put less gas in the boat unless I was to use the fuel immediately. I had this problem all the time in a boat I use to own and found that was the easiest and safest thing to do. If I was gonna use it and needed it I would buy the gas just minutes before going on my trip.

We started using this stuff last year and it buffed the gas stains out. This is some good shizit.

I just built a new 2018 Statement and to my amazement it came with new "drip less" over flows. They over flow/vent back into the top of fuel fill hole so no gas runs down the side of my boat or gets into the water. Its a great idea!!!

I think they even told me they are coast guard required. Don't quote me on that though.

What about adding a "T" in the vent hose up close to the vent and sending a slightly larger (CG Approved fuel line) line back to the tank "T" into the vent line fitting at the tank? I'm theorizing it would act like an expansion tank. Also, keep in mind that your vent line should be secured higher than the vent itself so this T should obviously be a couple of inches below the vent.

Heres a pick of the fill hose, the vent line route's with it, out the side, i can make it go higher then go over to side,

Also heres a pick of the #12 water dump for the Whipple, I could use the empty dump port, epoxy in a screen. throwing around ideas

Problem when putting gas in hard tell how close to full ya getting, gauge can be off 20-30 gallons, its not exact on, use to be able to hear it gurgle when close to full, I only fill it up when going outa town, thats fueling on the trailer. locall its sits on a lift and I just buy alittle fuel to just run around our 5 mile wide lake but I have ran out of gas 200 gallons in 1 day out in the gulf.

A negative edge fuel ring was offered in the late 2000's. They were designed to fit around the flush style fuel tank vents. Lewis Marine supply carried them a number of years ago, believe Whitecap manufactured them.

Someone makes a thru hull fitting for use with AC that might be what you are looking for. Its a standard thru hull, but with a small lip on the bottom of the hole that extends out just a bit. Its used to stop the water stains on the hull sides from when the AC is running and there is that small trickle of water constantly running down the side.

Been looking for manufacture, but no luck. Its pretty much same concept as SilverCat put up
