Jay Pilini XCS 34

.

Pilini Marine has just released pics of his latest creation, the XCS 34. The wrap-around windshield model is being water tested with 33 inch pitch props and has hit the 400R's rev limiters with a speed of 114MPH. The tests were conducted with full fuel tanks and the water tests are not yet complete. Jay is expecting to easily reach 120MPH when the bigger propellors arrive.

The interior of the 34 cat sports a dark dash to complement the large marine screens. The steering wheel is thick and leather wrapped. The dash electronics arrangement displays redundant Mercury Marine data to both driver and passengers. To the left of the steering wheel is the latest release of the VesselView component and dead center is a large Simard 16 inch display. Further to the right is a marine-grade stereo. Just below the Simard screen are the buttons, installed flush, and operates the vessel’s many electronics and electrical devices, all clearly marked.

Inside the cockpit, the large console is located front and center and holds the Mercury Digital Throttle and Shift controls. The console also holds the engine’s trim switches, 2 large beverage holders and the side-mounted ignition keys. The side pockets holds the larger items that you will bring along for your extended day trips. For the comfort of the driver and front passenger, the two buckets seats provide the perfect back support and head rests. The back side of the bucket seats is a hard shell. The rear bench has nicely appointed hips and side supports with a soft durable marine fabric.

Three additional XCS 34 hulls are in various stages of production and are expected to be completed soon. We will release pictures as they become available.

That interior looks better than the interior of many cars. Beautiful!

Really nice looking boat. Great lines. I'm looking forward to seeing how it looks in the water. The interior is gorgeous. I really like the integrated (to lower dash) console. That's one thing that I'm not wild about with the Predator WB. I would still want some analog gauges in the dash. It will be interesting to see how it runs.

The orange boat is absolutely beautiful. I had the pleasure of being able to see it first hand at the Pilini factory the other day as well progress on the others currently in production. I have heard nothing but positive things from those that have been in the boat. Jay's boats have always been built to very high standards, but he has really out done himself this time.
