With our upcoming move back to Fla, and future boating being the IC and Gulf of America, where I can wind er up and let er eat, for the first time, guess I better install these.

Bought them for the initial refit but never get the chance to let er off the leash to make them worthwhile.

Looks pretty slick.

Will talk to my GPS and you actually enter fuel added at fill ups and gives you range based on actual GPH used.

I know this is ancient news to you guys w/the new stuff…but for a guy running ancient junk like me, this is like the advent of the computer!

Interesting. I searched this product and read in the Q & A that it will read GPH. I'm wondering if it gives real time GPH and how accurate it is. We sometimes put 100 miles or more on our weekend outings. If it could be used to find a sweet spot with rpm, speed, and trim to save $$$ it would be helpful.

Yes to all the above.

It goes in line, in your fuel lines supplying the motors.

Works w/multiple motors and tanks.

Also allows calibration (+/- %) if its initial readings seem off.

At her new home.
Towed her down last wk.

Moving trucks loads us Tues and are southbound Weds.

Yee, fkg, hah!

Waiting on quotes for the new shop down there.

My old ‘14 GMC 1/2 ton w/a 170k did just fine.

Until it didn’t!

Kindof a heads up on this one too as I never heard of it.

I did all belts, hoses etc as PM, pre trip but re-used OEM hose clamp (that you squeeze together w/pliers to install) on top hose. (Other hoses came w/clamps)

Re-entering 70 mph zone after a pee break, w/only a tiny berm to pull back over on, in traffic, between two hills….., the engine temp spiked and truck went into limp home mode!

Blew that upper rad hose.

Hose was fine, the OEM clamp was still on the hose but lost its temper and slid off the neck of the radiator which puked 230* a.freeze all over the side of the truck!

Wife was behind me in her Jeep but dogs were in the truck, it was hot out so clock was ticking.

Bed of truck was stuffed w/shop supplies going south so dove in to see what I could find…..

No hose clamps or wire ties (that trip) but did have my wiring supplies!

That and a case of bottled water in the Jeep.

Bingo!

Back on the road.

900 mls down, loaded, 900 back a wk later, unloaded, didn’t use a drop of oil.

Love it.

It was still on 2 hrs earlier when the hose blew.
