MerCruiser 496MAG fuel module replacement?
 

New to me boat has a 2005 496MAG with 400hrs. Fuel module is leaking fuel. I know this is a known issue and I am going to try and replace the gasket and O ring first. If that doesn't work I will be shopping for a new fuel module.

Any suggestions on where to buy a reasonably priced fuel module for this 496?

which cool fuel -- 2005 used gen 2 and late 2005 model year 2006 used GEN 3.

Gen 3 is Merc specific ONLY. What is a reasonable price because they are not cheap for brand new.

For Gen 3 depending where the leak is -- most are from improper winterization

also 2 leaks can happen with either GEN 2 & 3 - fuel leak and or water leak or both. Which leak do you have ?
