Too me that record is a testament to how good Brian Forehand is at setting up the bottom of a Vee.

I going to say 204, two-way average. Then may I suggest that they put it on the trailer, drag it around the country showing it off and make the most of what I think will be a huge success or they could donate it to the iamjoe boat fund (my preference) .................
What do you mean, "not in "full dressed condition."

I mean they seem to have been running into smaller issues like drive gearing, the water pressure concerns, maybe prop changes. In other words it doesn't look like they're ready to make a full balls to the wall run until they dial in. It floats, it runs, it steers and all but not quite there yet. Maybe full dressed condition wasn't the best choice of words but its just what came out of these magical finger-tips at the time.

Years ago a number of NASCAR teams took their cars and further modified them and set some speed records at some tracks and the salt flats. They always announced their effort and results AFTERWARDS. Works out better that way.

you mean instead of saying it went 160 at 60% throttle in the low power setting and that it’s going to crush the record with ease? I do have to say all the talk has sure livened up the forum for what 2 weeks now?
this reminds me of that mti rf marine did that went “199”, but barely 180 when anyone was watching.

Nothing official but don't be shocked if there is no kilo run tomorrow. They have some issues they need to work through on the hatch and the bottom and it may take some time to get them done right.

Thanks Bud, as I nodded off last night I realized that Reggie did his first work on the modified Excalibur in the late 70's. Add another 10 years to his legacy!
