No matter which team it is, where it is and who it’s catered to, there will be “conspiracy theories”. Some may seem legitimate some may be far fetched. I just hope everyone finishes safely.

If you've ever put in at the factory and ran down river there really is no where for the the public to view the attempt -other than from private homes on the water. Reggie is a really nice guy, maybe he'd let some peeps watch from his place.

With Wichard Beach being developed now, there is no viewing unless your sitting on Reggie's dock. Saying a prayer for safety to all involved and hope the record makes it way back home...

My guess is they wouldn't want public viewing given the extreme levels of danger involved in this, heaven forbid, but if something happened during the run and there was an accident they probably don't want a video plastered all over the internet

Well the only way for the general public to view it would be by boat, and the last thing they want when trying to go 200 mph is boat wakes.

the river was not closed for the Outerlimits Kilo run however we had patrol boats to stop traffic during the actual attempts.....there are a few neighborhoods along the river where the kilo course will be run.....most people there are very friendly so my guess is you would be able to find a spot to watch.....I would scope it out the day before and bring some beer and make some friends.....as far as any fishiness the APBA is all business for this type of thing.....they have way to much to risk for, what it is to them, just another record attempt, to allow any shenanigans.....I wish everyone the best of luck in the attempt
