only reason this movie isn't shown any more is because the u.s. customs guy says God Bess America and shoves the throttles down like 3 time

Really only featured the one girl (Freddie Simpson) and dressed appropriately. My first post was only 10 minutes into the movie and she hadn't made an appearance. The bikini shot in the last minute was almost worth the wait.

maybe it isn't the writing or acting, maybe it's just the lack of "continuity girl"

To be fair, it was a tele-movie made nearly 30 years ago, let's hope Travolta's upcoming big screen release is a lot better.

P.S. Had to wait till the very last minute to see a bikini.....

Is there a "fast forward" ;-)

I love this movie taped it on vhs when it first aired ,have watched it dozens of times. "Don't you be quacking your quacker at me man ,don't you be quacking your quaker at me." that line pretty much ruined her career though.

Well Ben...err, Tom Rampy’s catamaran blew up in the the end, so.....

Also, somebody needs to go edit aaaallll the oil threads on this site, because the movie gauges show oil pressure rising as that boat starts to “come apart”.

How can you make a movie about the 70's and 80's and NOT have it be cheesy. They were cheesy times.
