classic movie, cheesy is right, but the story line is a loose interpretation of one i've heard before.
could be remade w/out the cheese, keep the boat scenes etc and maybe have the main character / boat builder played by travolta |

my favorite part is 14 minutes in, when they are being borded by the coast guard and he continues to have his beer...........lol........... got to love it...... different world today.......

Watching it now........ Hope I can hang in 'till the 14 minute mark! :) Good cast. Lot of A-listers and Oscar winners.... Mmm? No girls yet...... |
Apart from a couple of boat shots and a some questionable action sequences, that's an hour and a half of my life I'll never get back. To be fair, it was a tele-movie made nearly 30 years ago, let's hope Travolta's upcoming big screen release is a lot better. RR P.S. Had to wait till the very last minute to see a bikini..... |
