So at some point someone will build a new Skater with quad 627's from Seven Marine......

Worst part about OB's on these sleek cats is the profile view gets ruined with what looks like ET hanging off the back!

Heavy builds, heavy gear, tons of fuel, 4-6 passengers and lets not forget the hundreds of lbs of ice (for the dead fish, not beer!).

Those Freemans are very cool but seems they don't build many and I have yet to see one in person/in the water.

Man that has to take some work to balance a boat with that much weight high and all the way back.

At 1,200#s apiece, I don't think we'll see quad 7 Marines on a performance cat until the new, bigger Skater is finished. At 13' wide and 56' long, it will be the perfect boat for that setup - especially now that 7 Marine offers the 627 with the GT gearcase. Way out of my price league, but it will be an incredible setup! I'm really looking forward to seeing the first 40s and 46s with the quad 400 setup until then......

Besides pricing on the 7 engines IMO they would never hold up on a cat. They have enough trouble now as it is.
