help i need to rent a truck to tow a 28 skater
HELP ......i hope someone can tell me where to rent a truck i can use to tow with, the regular rentals say no towing or it voids the insurance . I am in miami

You can tow with a U Haul-no problem. But they only have a 2" ball.
Yup, U Haul will let you tow. A buddy of mine towed his Donzi 26ZX to Maine from Ft Lauderdale last spring with one.
Where do you need to tow it to? maybe someone traveling that way could help you with that instead.
I rented a U-haul pickup a while back and it had a 2" receiver hitch on it. It also had a V-6 engine, so that's some thing else to consider.
thanks for your ideas, the u haul is ok, b ut i was looking for a pick up as we are taking the boat to the worlds in n.o. and the box truck is not that comfortable for a long trip . cord was the v6 enuff power ? what did you pull?

Ever condidered a short term lease?? Maybe for a month or something??? Some leasing companies will do this.
