Windshield cut

Have a 2003 powerquest vyper, want to cut windhield down 3 inchs. Little to high like early 2000 fountains. Anyone out there interested or referrels? Live in Chicago but will bring it a good distance to get it done. Thanks

You cannot cut tempered glass.

The added turbulence may cause regret. My windshield on a 18' Donzi is less than worthless. It might be better with no windshield.

Yea well aware of tempered glass, but i know there are specialty shops out there that could handle this.

Its your boat but....
I wouldn't do it.
Gotta believe resale will suffer too.
See some smaller PQ's with "race fairings" but I think I would even prefer the look of a full factory windshield.
Best of luck with whatever you decided.
My .02

I know what you mean, the windscreen on my Nordic did the best job at deflecting the wind right into my face, absolute misery after 5 minutes. Best protection I ever had were the pop-up deflectors on the PP, those worked very well.
