Myco trailer bow stop problem.
 

Ayuh,..... The problem is the angle of the ramp,.....

Try pullin' part way out, 'n tighten the winch, then pull out,.....

Or live with it the way it is, so long as the load is balanced on the trailer,.....

Don't blame Myco!
 

It's that damn Beak! LOL What Bondo said is accurate. I usually wet all the pads, then pull up a bit as she slides on to cut down on the approach angle.

What i did... position the boat on trailer put small paint mark on winch strap at the top of the winch spool and when you put the boat on the trailer at boat ramp line up the mark on winch and the boat will be in the same place every time.

Couple things.
1) The paint/Sharpie point is important. I've done several versions, but the best for me was a 1" stripe of red paint on the winch cable, and a stripe of red electrical tape on the winch stand platform. That way no matter what angle ramp, I could tell when the boat was on the trailer. This also made it plainly obvious for any of my friends manning the winch while I was manning the boat or truck.
2) You could be sinking the trailer too deep. That could be throwing off the angle of your dangle (so to speak). When you winch the bow in/up tight, you want it to force the transom down on the trailer. But you can't do that if you've got so much boat in the water and trailer is too far sunk. You want to do this so the boat "soft lands" into it's correct landing spot on the trailer, and doesn't forcefully drop down into it once weight/gravity pushes it down as the boat comes out of the water. (Ask me how I know that: I've had the boat drop into the bunks forcefully, and it's exactly how you break the edge of your flat bunks off and tear up fiberglass on your chines. No bueno.)
3) Wax your bow stop!!! This makes things SO much easier. I always keep a can of spray wax in the toolbox on the trailer, or in the door pocket of the truck. JUST before you retrieve the boat, spray down the bow stop to make them slick as frog snot. The boat will slide right up where you need it. (Also, make sure all of your forward bunks are wet on the trailer. You may have to dip it further and pull out before boat goes on, or splash water on them.) After you pull the boat up to the parking lot, you just wipe the wax off the bow of the boat.

I've got a couple of microfiber polishing bonnets on my rubber D blocks. Spray em down with quick detailer and you get a wax job every time you retrieve the boat.

But, I think we back the trailer in too deep quite often, as well. The transom floats out of alignment with trailer sometimes. I have to get in the water and push boat over.

I have a 29' Fountain CC on a Myco trailer and the same thing happens to me.
You can mark all you want on the strap, it won't help.
When the boat is still floating pull it up tight to the bow stop and then pull it out.
It will likely drop back and inch or two.
Move your bow stop up or down tight to the bow of the boat and go from there

When you put your boat in the water after you pull the trailer out move the bow stop up or down a bit to compensate for what is going to happen when you load your boat again.

Works for me after many years of frustration with the setup.

put some cheap buffing bonets over it. Works wonders for sliding

I moved my stops forward a bit. I think Myco set them wrong to start.
