Anybody use these roll up fenders?

Came across these and wondering how well they work. Have had some bad luck (or user error) when it comes to normal fenders and rafting/docking overnight, this looks a little more foolproof.

The idea is nice but the padding looks awful thin. I wouldn't want to trust that as my only protection. Maybe as supplemental in addition to regular fenders.

On second look i think they might work great for rafting up, especially the larger size, 26 inches tall x 9 feet.
But worthless for a dock with pilings or anything sticking out of it.

I have these in 30" and 60" for the Skater. Amazing for tidal changes on the Keys docks.

Nice idea to be able to deflate them for storage. though i guess these would be in addition to your normal fenders since you dont really want to worry about blowing em up as you approach the dock.
Seems like they would give good protection for rafting up, im wondering if they have the same issue as normal fenders, that they will scuff paint if they dont have fabric covers.

I have the modular EVA fenders from AIRHEAD and they work great. I use a combination of the round inflatable ones and the modular depending on the adjoining dock/boat.

I keep them as clean as possible and wax the areas before and after Poker Runs. Nothing is perfect but I'll take the extra protection vs gouges and dock rash repairs.

I leave the 60" versions 60-70% inflated to get them into my front hatches and twisted into the sponson openings. The 30" fit in and hang vertically in the hatches. I have pins on them on short lines. I have 5' lines on ea end of the 60" so I can put them anywhere along the side of the boat. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...225e81890a.jpg
