Sure, lead with your head in a river loaded with dead falls.

I have a 35hp Evinrude on a 14' Jon. It's stupid amounts of fun.

Reminds me of the " dinghy wars " we used to have in the river behind our house . The salt marsh cuts were narrower and yes, I have crashed a 12' skiff on land!
Looks like fun and the crowd was definitely into it.

We used to time trial race the salt marshes in Jersey with my 13' / 15' Boston Whalers against my friends boats - 13' garvey, 14' aluminum with tiller steer, and a RIB and a Whaler knock-off.

Summers of fun!

They used to race outboards between Lake Washington and Lake Sammamish up the Sammamish Slough. It looked similar to this except they would short cut over land between turns. This was late 1950's.
