Old School Smuggling - Ben Who?

In the summer of 1982, Eugene Fischer watched as two tugboats guided his barge into a dock at the old Brooklyn Navy Yard.
Minutes later, Randy Lanier, Ben Kramer, and George Brock, opened secret compartments inside the ballast tanks at the bottom of the barge...

I have read the Rolling Stone article before but it's been awhile. Definitely a great read!

I don't care about marijuana, its now legal in several states and will be nationally legal in Canada by the end of June. The other crimes like murder, sure lock them up. But if just pot, they should be released by now......

Its just Weed guys-
Get the smack and crack off the streets and finish Legalizing Weed. The worst problem right now is Legal Pills.
Anybody that really thinks weed leads to Hard chit reads to many fairy tales. Hell Booze has killed more people than anything.

Party On :cool-smiley-027:

Those guys were smuggling TONS of pot for MILLIONS of dollars, they didn't give a sh*t about anyone except themselves and who knows how many lives were lost during the distribution downstream and by the users. I'm all for medicinal pot today and possibly recreational pot if a way is found to test for it similar to drunk driving alcohol testing.

But yet it's okay for people to get filthy rich off destroying lives with legal prescription drugs.

the biggest problem is heroin. Anyone that says the heroin use is to blame on the prescriptions doctors hand out hasn’t seen the real problem in inner cities. Sure there’s a couple people here and there that get hooked on pills after an injury, can’t afford them on the street and turn to heroin. But out of the 150+ I’ve given narcan to in the last year, that’s less than 5%

I am just happy that the laws protect us from that horrors of cannabis. MILLIONS die every year from it..... ;)

No, drug use and drug distribution is horrific. Big pharma, their distributors, doctors, pharmacies needs to be prosecuted for the mess.

No millions don't die from using pot but many drive stoned and kill themselves or others.
