No, In the northeast we have a bunch of guys that race against each other, and as soon as the race is over we are all hanging together having a blast. I raced the SE division all summer as well, great bunch of guys down there also. I am just trying my hardest to get all of these guys together, and go to new Orleans in numbers, to show the people of the Big Easy What the SBI and OPA is all about. Just a great time with a boat race thrown in for good measure.

Hey Smitty, Bruce and Marty,

I would really like to be there and run with you guys, (I still call myself a Jersey boy - being from Brick as well). I truly do not have the time nor the desire at the current time. We are as busy as ever imagined. At the current time I'm happy with the dragster and my Harley playing around. The boat technically is ready, but no crew ( I allways know I could count on Marty if needed). Believe it or not the most difficult thing was getting people to run in the boat with me, could you believe that. I'll actually be in the area that week (Pensacola, FL) giving a seminar and training class, so I may just take a puddle jumper over for a day/night.... I'll probably run the boat as a converted pleasure boat from now on just for fun. If I could get a good reliable team and crew together I may look into getting another boat, possibly a Super V or 36 cat, but who knows. Anyhow, good luck to you and everyone and stay safe.

I wasn't looking to goof around and cruise the courses this year if we ran. You know as well as I, I was told that my class wasn't going to be around for the 2002 season, that is why we were going SBI........You know all the details and reasons why we are not running and it is history in the books (or lack of it). But if I do not get rid of them I'll put them in and play, they'll also fit in anything else I get...

Man that would've been sweet!..ah well, guess you'll have to come up to Jersey to run in the "other" big red boat! ;) :D
