Default Wind deflectors for glass windshields?

Anyone know of a source for wind deflectors that are compatible with a standard glass windshield? Below is a picture I found of a bracket that attached to a standard windshield providing a 3/4" stock for a standard defector to mount to but cannot find them. Not sure if it was a custom made one off or what...

Anyone have any ideas?

Look up Wind Aways. Seems like someone resurrected them and are making them again. I seem to recall a thread on that recently.

I thought that windaway's worked were designed for plastic windscreens and did not work with thicker aluminium framed glass windshields.

They will work on windshield frames as well, as long as the frame (or glass/polycarbonate) is 1" thick or less.

To be honest, they vary in thickness. My old Checkmate had a 3/4" thick frame and they worked fine on it. Some are a little thicker, some a little thinner. Many are in the 3/4" range + or - 1/4".
My current boat has a frameless windshield and the polycarbonate is 3/8" thick. WindAways clamp on fine.

What boat do you have?

Take a look on the Formula forum. Remember some time back a few, Rippem was one, that were using them on their 353's.

I used windaways on the stainless frame of my old 382. The clamps were made to adjust to quite a wide range of thickness.
