The ratings were my concern when purchasing recently. Went with a 17' F350 6.7 SRW C.C. Longbed. The hitch pull is rated up to 21,000lbs without weight distribution, its built into the Ford 2017s and up. 30,000 lb rating in the bed. Actual tow ratings depend on the total of all the options. Also, new trucks have 3" receivers allowing for higher rated hitch ball mounts. Tractor supply has Curt heavy duty mounts that are rated very high in 2" and 2.5" and hitch balls at 20k lbs. 3" Mounts are just starting to populate the market.
