I knew a guy that raced those in Florida except they were regular ribs (vee bottom). He was a big guy (240+, 6 ft+) and said it was a blast but you could get smacked around badly.

I don't see the fun......I see a lot of bodily exposure to spinning props as light boats are bouncing all around you!

The good old days 30 years ago.

30 years ago, didn't think too much about getting beat up a bunch and was still convinced of being invincible so spinning props would not have crossed the mind. Now, after aneurysm surgery and one knee surgery last year, back surgery a few years ago and knee replacement scheduled for Feb, it's a whole new world. But I still got hair.

if i was 30 years younger . . . well . . . i'd have 30 more years to screw off again :D

They had prop guards on. Not perfect but better than nothing

I wanna know where we can get those boats. Any ideas ??
