Need transportation company

Just bought a 35' Flame and need to get it shipped from Newberg OR to Paducah KY. Anyone goat good, or bad, experiences to share? Will be ready to pick up once I get the wire transfer sent.

Welcome to Frank Molé Transport Service.

I used him before and will be delivering a boat from IL soon. Hangs out over at Scream And Fly Magazine - Home for countless excellent reviews.

His website says up to 30 feet, the Flame is 35.

Try Nick Evans (in KY). He runs EMI Marine (transport and recovery).

Abbot Boat Transport out of Murphysboro IL.

Cooper Transport, I have used him in the past

Call Rich 217-720-2558 Forgot his company name. Second to none

Slippery 06-19-2018 12:56 PM

Doug Parks - BBS Services - 951 312 7150

Tom Roper - TR Transport - 281 723 4714

Both have hauled my 43 Schiada between CA & MI

Both have experience with large boats. (My 43 has a 9'6" beam)

Doug operates out of Havasu area and I believe Tom is based in Tx but both pull all over the country.

I'm sure there are other reputable haulers but I've had experience with both and would recommend either with no hesitation.

Did you buy the one with Ilmors?

Don't wanna hijack the OP but yeah, Ilmor 625's when we bought it from Lee @ Schiada although originally had some V12 things that from what I understand weren't really all that impressive in terms of performance, were heavy, and had some issues right before the Catalina Ski Race. Lee was scrambling for power and Ilmor air freighted a pair of 625s to him so they wouldn't miss the race.

We smoked the starboard engine last Sept and sent them to BoostPower for a rebuild and warm up (Thanks, Alexi) and are still putting some easy hours on the fresh motors.

There are only a pair of Schiada 43's; ours with Ilmor / Boostpower and a silver one with 700 Mercs.

cheers

I used Jeff Murray at Outlaw Transportation. He's been hauling boats for along time.

Except for that 3-4 years that he was in prison for his role in a boat theft.

Griff if you are going to post this at least get it right. He/Jeff was in prison for 2 years for it and you have forgotten to mention the other 16 people that he transported the boat to in New York. Some of whom are some pretty big names in this industry. He must not be that bad of a person since he now does all the factory hauling for DCB and Eliminator and we know those are not cheap boats. Not denying that Jeff did something wrong but he has been working his ass off to be a better person and do the right thing

Jeff- maybe you would like to explain the extra 8 hours on the hour meter of the Spectre cat you hauled from California to New Hampshire.😳
A word of advise to anybody considering Jeff Murray- don’t leave the keys in the boat. Ship them separately.
