When did Powerboat Nation change their format?
 

I haven't been on there in awhile and now the forums are gone and it's a boating news site.

they closed the forums down couple months ago, you can still view the posts but can not post new threads...........some of the members have gone over to Boat freaks

The Archived forums also dose not work any more Speedy :( Lots lots of good info lost over there.

It was posted on one of the Donzi forums. First edition, custom inscription, $100. Now I can't find it but I'm trying to get info and will post update. I want to order one too. The books are ready and people are receiving them.

Well, it is underway! I have signed the printing contract for the first 300 books. It will be hard cover, 8" x 10", 204 pages, with 3 dozen color pix, suitable for flaming. The forward will be written by none other than Rich Luhrs, whose wit is well known. The content is 50 humerous stories about the heroes of my life, and the sport that still makes me smile after 80+ years, stretching over 25 years, starting when I wrote for His Extreme Flyntness, Larry, at Hot Boat Magazine, and ending with my current gig, Power Boat Nation, for my pal Brad. I have fattened some of the stories, but they are all still true (mostly). I intend to sell the "First Editions" for $100 each, including delivery. Each book will include a hand scrawled dedication, long or short, to whomever the buyer wishes. Printer says deliver in 30-40 days.
