Good morning guys,
Anyone knows the price of the new Mercury V8 300 hp ? I don't having pricing for the other 4.6-liter V-8-based Mercury outboard lines. |
Thank you for your response, Matt.
When will you have the prices of Verado V8 300? They will be cheaper than the Racing? |

OK thank you very much Matt
I wait for your prices. |
Not MSRP pricing. New Mercury FourStrokes | Jaco's Marine Racing line-up. Also not MSRP. http://jacosmarine.com/mercury-racing-pricing/ |
Here is MSRP for the rest of the V-8 outboard iterations from Mercury Marine:
250 Verado $23,540 250 4S $21,790$ 300 4S $23,570 300 Verado $25,450 250 Sea Pro $22,070 300 Sea Pro $23,845 250 PXS $21,450 300 PXS $24,965 |
Any plans for a 12 inch midsection. For so many applications they are just far too tall. The old school two stroke with 12 inch were the bomb!! |
Those prices are crazy, I like the thought of repowering, changing out a 250xs for a 300R 20”sporty. But the cost to do it makes me cringe.

Nothing about this hobby has anything remotely close to logic attached to it from a $$$$$ perspective. That's why I have an 1989 hull and 1998 outboards.
Yeah, ‘86 hull and ‘17 outboard here. But when the alternative is a new 24’ hull, motor, and trailer in the upper five figures, a repower looks better and better. |
I think Mercury publishes the new prices officially in the months of July every year? it is right?

The price list that I have of Mercury 2009, goes from July 7, 2009 to July 7, 2010, so I thought they always showed their prices in the month of July.
But, I find it very strange that if you publish prices in the month of April, still nobody has the official prices of Mercury Verado 300 V8 engines :confuso: |
,
This is the price list from Jacos Marine and what I was quoted two weeks ago ==> Mercury Racing Jaco's Marine SM = sport master lowers CL = counter rotation Long shaft RH = Right Hand rotation L = long shaft 20" https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...09b0886c1f.jpg |

I do not know what problem Mercury has with the price of the new Verado V8 300hp, because last year in these same dates they had published the prices ...

I have a new 300R with sportmaster coming in this Tuesday. I will test it on a new 21 Liberator. The boat ran 101 with a 300xs. liberatorpowerboats.com

When will you have the prices of Verado V8 300? They will be cheaper than the Racing? can't wait for Wildman's performance assessment of the 300R SM lowers! yes, the prices for the non-race costs less at Jacos Marine The prices below are for DTS - digital throttle and shift if you want analog non-DTS, the prices drop even more. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...5333815a46.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...cc4c8a1c70.jpg |
.
if you think your lowers will blowout with non-sportmaster lowers, have these installed lookup jason wolf in fasebook https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...4cb745004e.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...a42eb685f6.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...b020523d54.jpg |
so Jason Wolf is incorp a torque tab as it looks like
|
.
that one could be a special order from the customer. He builds them without the torque tabs perhaps for twin installations? this one is a twin Verardo 350 monsters on a 24 cat with Jason's nose cone builds. I heard that there were no warranty violations with this nosecone build, https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...7e8304308f.jpg |
I have a pair of brand new 400R's if anyone needs them. If you order, there's a 14 week wait. 20" RH and LH with wingplates. $60 for the pair. Just came in this week. Still in the boxes. Email [email protected]
