Good thread sealant

What's a good plumbers thread sealant for a 90* elbow (thread) on a Imco manifold. the manifold is aluminum and the elbow is stainless.
It's not exceedingly high temp.......it's a water jacketed exhaust manifold and the 90* elbow attaches to coolant hose....is there such a thing
as a marine teflon tape???

Thats a thread locker too, so might not be what you are looking for. In that case something like this http://www.downwindmarine.com/Permatex-Thread-Sealant-with-PTFE-p-91000994.html

it mentions salt water, has lasted for years on my boat and still comes apart easily. (stir it up good if it's been sitting a long time)

Thanks for all the insight.....I went with the Bostik never seez pipe compound w/teflon. I like the properties and because of the galvanic issue....ss to aluminum

Spam, Ranting off topic arguments, MFing members and the big one - talking bad about an advertiser will all get a thread sealed and / or locked pretty quickly.

this use to be the standard for marine and bike fuel fittings years ago, among other fittings. Actually surprised it has never been brought up here.

I`ve been using it on drive o rings, cooler and drive gaskets, and any lower pressure threads and it`s fantastic. gaskets no longer tear when you take things apart and can now be reused (bellhousing cooler gaskets)
It`s my new go to .
