There is a very limited market for expensive and high maintenance performance type boats. They may sell well here on OSO but once you get into the under $100K range I think those boats sell well on the F.B. boat pages. The key is a detailed ad with pictures and a reasonable price. The Baja and Fountain haters exist everywhere and most are broke.

I get on every day at lunch. it has slowed down a lot in the past few years, but still get on everyday to see whats happing. facebok is a easy way to reach the masses but it comes with its draw backs. lots of my buddys have, that's a pos, and over all pointless comments on fb. oh and try and have a event and the fb cowboys show up because they heard something or what ever the case my be. oso is way better and yes darr is on facebook trolling also lol. he said he was in the freedom skater with a large number of people doing 130. Tyson shot him down being that he was really in the boat lol.

Been here a long time, I think I am member #69. OSO is still my go to boating site but it is not what it used to be. I use facebook, but not really for the boating content.

Boating isn't what it used to be.

The phrase, “Big hat. No cattle” , comes to my mind on most of the FB forums. Guys are quick to rip a young guy for buying a “junk” 25 outlaw. Who are they to judge? Half of them are probably stuck in their moms basement planning Instagram shots.

Same here. I could give a rat’s arse about what everybody had to eat today or what dumb meme/emoji best describes their mood, but if somebody redid something on their boat or has go-pro of them crushing waves, I definitely wanna see that $h!t! Also, I’m far too busy/special/important/unique (pick as many as necessary) to sort through all the other garbage to find the good stuff. I’m not even going to go FULL tin-foil-hat regarding the FB terms of service.
