We stayed in it when we could, backed off when we had to. It was a blast and the whole weekend was good times with good people.

There might be a couple of boats that you might know going by on the Detroit River.

Be safe man, I Know you have a lot of hours & experience, just never want to read a horror story (make that about any of the members here) . I WILL have a 46 Skater one day.... After seeing Freedom up close at TNT, wow, what a machine!

Detroit River is notorious for having holes in it. Some well known and experienced unlimited hydroplane racers lost their lives there on the race course east of the Belle Isle bridge running speeds similar to those discussed.

What time did you guys get to the bridge? We were going up the river under the bridge at 1235 heading to the raft off in lake St Claire. We were hoping to see you guys but did not see a single Skater.

Skaters came down the Detroit River at around 11:45AM and once everyone got to the Bridge they headed back up the Detroit River back into LSC around 12ish like Cash Bar said.
