Thanks, Padraig. This trip so far has been amazing—a ton of work but so enlightening. The passion for go-fast boating here burns as brightly as it does in the United States. Only the scale is smaller. (And yeah, as you'd probably guess, most of the boats are older.) Sweden has six poker runs and the country is roughly the same geographic size (with one third of the population) as California. It is far and away the poker run hotbed of Europe.
