That must be the one I saw. Lots of blue and yellow I think. I took pics of the interior because I liked that removable seat back. Was still called pass blocker. This was about 3 years ago roughly

Brad Benson Hyundai Sold Ends His Business | AutoMosys

Article says the dealership was in bankruptcy. If the boat was owned by the dealership then it was an easy out for him.

That article reads like it was written by a Nigerian scammer during his coffee break.

So many of these boats are are tough to sell due to wild paint and color combos.

Past the helmet that’s a badass boat

pslonaker 08-16-2018 11:08 PM

someone should ask Bernie out of Jersey, he had the boat listed and seems to know everything about everything in the boating world

Put the engines and drives up for sale in the swap shop then park the boat alongside Al Copeland's "Phenomenon" and package the two for 100K.

I'm sure it's a great boat in many ways but who wants it? It's not the first boat that was custom built for ONE man and I'm sure it stroked his ego nicely but when it's time to sell, for whatever reason, you're hunting a very very small part of the market.

Remember this boat had that weird story where it took on some water during the Key West PR. The escape hatch popped open on the bottom of the boat and they beached the boat vs. letting it sit in the water. Then it was lifted off the beach with a crane onto its trailer.

Yep, I remember seeing the pics of the boat beached. This is a tough sell. I can see the boat itself being sellable, but w/ 1650s? Tall power with really tall upkeep and short life expectancy. Take the stickers off, put sensible power in it and someone might grab it.

If the boat was owned by the dealership that went bankrupt wouldn’t it be an asset of the dealership therefore going straight to auction as opposed to being brokered first ? With some of the wild stuff that’s out there now I don’t see how this WOULDNT sell. Just my opinion unless there is some damage of course .
