Lots of classes with just one entry.
But, if classes are generalized and reduced, perhaps fewer participants since their chances of winning are greatly reduced. Interesting predicament. It is what it is. |
I’d like to see 2 classes moving forward, under 30 feet & over 30 feet. Then add specialty awards-most impressive, most innovative, most unusual, etc to be voted on by senior council of the event. That would be fun!

Not saying this in a bad way but how many boats were in the shootout ? Does not seem like that many at all. Many runs thou - I think they said 225 runs so lets say the average was 4 runs per boat = around 55 boats for a guess but if I recall they had about 7 to 10 Jet skis. Anyone have an idea how many boats ? Thanks

What's the point? |
Yep, too many classes. What's the one where the winner ran 25 mph? Canoes? lol
|
Boat manufacture would be cool to see listed with speeds runs.

Need more boats competing for Top Gun. Snoozer compared to years past watching the big boys go back and forth vying for the top spot. Last few years it is American Ethanol's spot to lose if they break and can't run over 160.

The highest boat # was 110, I counted 12 PWC’s, so 98 boats paid ( got a #) not all ran though, I counted 18 that didn’t., so 80 that actually made at least 1 pass |
