Since the Suzuki 250 & 300 have the same bore and stroke where does the 50hp
Where does the extra 59hp come from if they are the same bore stroke and displacement. The cams? Thx for any info rm |
Im no engine guru but cam is part of the answer, head flow, compression, computer, max rpm must be along those lines but someone sure knows for real! |

the program that controls the variable valve timing function on the intake valves was re-coded, as was the program that controls the motor's variable intake path function. "This was all done in the computer," said Greenwood. "The actual cam profiles are not changed. We were able to produce a torque curve that is very similar to that of a big two-stroke. Not quite as strong as a two-stroke, but very close. It peaks much faster that the curve on the DF300." |
