Must have tools

Hi all,

A few days ago BUP posted some good info on a fuel pressure tester for guys to purchase to work on their engines. I said what a great idea. Sometimes there are tools available that you don't know about that can make your life easier. If you have a good tool that we could use post it here.

I'll start with a belt alignment tool that someone recently told me about. I had to take the pulley off my sea pump a few times and it was very hard to get it perfectly aligned with little room between my engine and bulk head. I purchased this Dayco belt alignment tool. It was very quick and easy to use.

This is for serpentine belts: http://www.daycoproducts.com/daycoŽ-belt-diagnostic-kit. I picked it up through Advanced Auto for $75 shipped to my house.

Good idea John

So a little inside info for the marine techs or person wanting to get more indepth testing for working on marine apps or even the auto side..

I am distributor for these tools - I have been using tools like this for years. Certain few of marine techs have been getting into scopes and more inline of what the auto side has been using.

This one in the video is for the auto side but there is a marine version called 505M. COST for the 505M is 335 shipped to your door.. For techs the thoughts are time is money so we like to buy tools that help out pin pointing issues plus boating season is such a short season that it is important to get service boats fixed properly sooner rather than later.
