You should probably wait until you get your intakes and blowers. I'm not sure those will clear the blower snout.

I just sent mine back yesterday. The outfit I bought them from was very understanding and really cool about it. No matter what I couldn't get it to fit. My application was for a 454 mag. Would have loved to have used it and dress it up a little but had to go back to an OEM housing

well I will try a second time to explain some real info here... For one I deal with Sierra actually will be meeting them in person NEXT week --- The facts are sierra dealers have to wait about 7 days to 2 weeks to even get any THESE because they ARE SPECIAL ORDERS.. --- One would be surprised what dealer cost is --- its more than you think dollar wise - The fact is ALL Sierra dealers have to go thru a Sierra distributor - MOST Sierra Distributors do have this 18 - 1989 in stock --- HENCE why they are special orders.
Next will say this on top of -- the people whom are selling these RETAIL for $ 215 and below are selling the misfit made ones. Retail is 275 without shipping so do the math -- dealer pricing after shipping is around 30 to 36 percent.margin from the retail price. So think about it -- totally impossible for one selling these under 215 that are NOT the misfits. YOU ARE MAKING ZERO DOLLARS at that pricing. Who would waste their time selling stuff with a zero profit margin except if they are the discounted price defected ones. |
