Baja is a great boat, I had one, loved it.But I get all the baja haters always come out of the woodwork, most of the time they`ve never owned one
Agree, I had a 272 & 33OL and loved them both, great ride and lots of room and style

I think the 42 Tiger with 6's that just changed hands for 100K was a far better option. With 200K left over you have extra cash to run it, buy a new truck to pull it and don't think there is much depreciation left in that one. Straight bottom too......just like the Baja!
Agreed................with everything except the price

I love me some Baja. I just like the Bucyrus ones better than the Washington ones. Still glad to see them making new boats again. i looked over a new 27 Outlaw at Big Thunder a few weeks back and overall the boat's fit and finish looked pretty good. Had decent enough graphics.

I realize that new boat prices are out of the park now, no offense to the Baja brand, one of the homies now, just a chit wad of money for a 35 footer. Get over your beak chit fobia, has nothing to do with the comment.

On my third outlaw. My buddy bought one because I told him great boat for the $. He completely agreed, loves his. It is a lot of $, but big boat with big motors, don't think it's that bad.

Yeah, but think about this. My Baja 342 price was $187,000 in 2004 with 496 Mag HO, Graffrig gauges and X Drives. Im the second owner and didnt pay that, but somebody did. I have production data that shows a whopping 230 made between 1998 and 2008.

This 36 Outlaw has custom paint, custom upholstery and pair of Mercury Racing 565 with Bravo One XR drives, Sportmaster gear cases, Mercury SmartCraft and 9-inch Simrad display screen. Thats actually pretty darn good.

...and the big money, my personal favorite "Baja Logo Carpet" - LOL

But seriously, that is a well-optioned boat. If you look at the power package and adjust the price of my 2004 for inflation, the 35 is actually a better deal due to the power package by a landslide. If you look around, you really cant get too many 36 foot boats for $300K that have this much going for them.

I would love to see Baja bring back the Islander series. People who want a more family oriented boat but still have some performance and style would go for them. I'd love to see a 29 or 32' Islander.

Have you priced a new Formula 292 fastec without anything that’s says mercury racing on it? 6.2L small blocks in fact...

bottom line is any new go fast or power boat is ridiculously priced
