Engine & Drive Re-builds

In general, what is the typical cost to rebuild an engine and/or upper and lower drive units. And how often should these be completed.

Thanks.
Ricochet.

Thats gonna depend a lot on what engines and drives and what parts are needed.

Sure it depends on parts, but I just need a budgetary estimate. How about for a 454 bore out to 468 cu. in. and a '91 Bravo I drive.

I just got a price of $7500.00 to freshen up two 454 mags. with Whipples. If thats what you meant. I have 275 hrs.

Rrive Rebuilds

The Question you asked is kinda tricky, We start Rebuilds at
about $1000 for teardown, inspection, and rebuild. But that does not include any parts, Putting a drive together stronger than stock you can Figure $1800 to $2000 and we do stand behind our work. The question when to rebuild is a hard question to answer, but if the drives are 10 years old it is probbally a good time to inspect the drives.

I'm thinking of rebuilding the bravo 1 to stock, nothing more. Cost estimate?

Ricochet.
