first engine broke a cam shaft into 3 pieces. 15 minutes old (fresh build port engine) second engine took out 4 lobes on the cam shaft that then took out the main and fried the crank. (fresh build starboard) got 6 hours out of this 1
the rebuild starboard spun a main again. don't know why yet, but I have a few guesses. Got 7 hours out of this 1 New machine shop is involved now. |
I would definatly change something in your recipe! New machine shop is a good place to start with! Good ( or better) luck next time! |
I bet it was comp cams. Garbage!!!!!

2 motors ate up the cams? Seems rather odd. Same assembler each time? |

I called five towing companies and none of them would help. Pretty ideal if you have a decent operator. |

After all the times I have had motors in and out I'm glad I bought a gantry from Harbor fright. After the 6th or 7th (in and out both count) time calling your buddy you find they stop answering their phones.
